Glacier Express

Panoramic journey Glacier Express

Travel on the famous Glacier Express – one of Switzerland's best scenic train rides across the Alps connecting two of the most popular resorts – Zermatt and St. Moritz. The entire journey takes around 7.5 hours and crosses 291 bridges, passes through 91 tunnels and climbs over the 2033m high Oberalp Pass. There are of course faster ways to travel. But none as beautiful as the journey by Glacier Express, the panoramic train traveling right through the Swiss Alps. Here the journey is really the destination.
