No, train tickets are generally not tied to a specific train. Point-to-point tickets can be used on the selected travel date for all trains on the booked route within the specified validity period.
The time selected during the booking process is used to display possible connections and to select a route, especially if several route options are available. During the validity period shown on your ticket, you may use any connection on the selected route.
Please check the information on your ticket, as some types of tickets may have time restrictions.
As a rule, no seat reservation is required in the Swiss rail network. If you still want to reserve a seat, you can view the capacity of your connection in the SBB timetable and make a reservation there if necessary. This is not included in the ticket price.

If children are accompanied by another person, the Swiss Family Card is not valid and they require a reduced ticket.
