Brienzer Rothorn ticket

The Brienzer Rothorn ticket takes you by historic steam train from Brienz to Rothorn Kulm and back. From the summit, the view extends over three cantons, deep-blue Lake Brienz and numerous surrounding mountain peaks.

Adults with a Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex or Swiss Half Fare Card valid on the day of travel receive a 50% discount. Adults with a Berner Oberland Pass or Lucerne Travel Pass travel free of charge. There is no discount for senior citizens.

Children under 6 travel free of charge and do not require a ticket. If one parent has a Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex or Swiss Half Fare Card valid on the day of travel, children between the ages of 6 and 15 travel free of charge with the included Swiss Family Card.
