With your Schilthorn ticket, the cable car takes you from Stechelberg or Mürren up to Schilthorn – Piz Gloria. At the top, a spectacular view of the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and many other peaks of the Bernese Alps awaits you.

How to get there

There are two different ways to reach the Schilthorn. The journey and ticket vary depending on the point of departure and route. Please select your preferred option during the booking process.

From Mürren

The cable car from Mürren takes you to the Schilthorn via the Birg intermediate station in around 20 minutes. Please note that the journey to Mürren is not included in the ticket.

From Stechelberg

The world’s steepest cable car takes you from Stechelberg to Mürren. There, you take the next cable car via Birg to the Schilthorn. The entire journey takes around 30 minutes.

Children under 6 travel free of charge and do not require a ticket. If one parent has a Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex or Swiss Half Fare Card valid on the day of travel, children between the ages of 6 and 15 travel free of charge with the included Swiss Family Card.
