Lucerne Travel Pass
With the Lucerne Travel Pass, you can enjoy relaxed, flexible travel throughout Central Switzerland. For 3 to 10 days, the pass allows unlimited travel by train, bus, boat and many mountain railways – including Titlis, Pilatus and Rigi.

- Available for 3, 4, 5 or 10 consecutive days
- Unlimited journeys on most rail and bus routes in Central Switzerland
- Valid in the area between Pfäffikon SZ, Baar, Göschenen, Interlaken Ost and Langnau i. E.
- Free use of numerous mountain railways and cableways including the Titlis, Pilatus and Rigi railways
- Boat trips on Lake Lucerne included all year round
- Boat trips on Lake Ägeri and Lake Zug included in summer
- Valid in 2nd class

Adults with a Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex or Swiss Half Fare Card and senior citizens do not receive a discount on the Lucerne Travel Pass.

Children between the ages of 6 and 15 receive a reduced price if one parent has a Lucerne Travel Pass. The Swiss Family Card is not valid.
Children under 6 travel free of charge and do not require a ticket.

Frequently asked questions
The Lucerne Travel Pass is ideal if you want to spend several consecutive days in Central Switzerland and are planning excursions by train, bus, boat or mountain railways. Many mountain excursions including the Titlis, Pilatus and Rigi railways are already included in the pass, so you can explore the region flexibly and affordably.
When making your purchase, select the desired period of validity and your start date. The pass is automatically valid from this date and can be used flexibly during the selected period. On request, the Lucerne Travel Pass must be presented together with a valid ID.
No, seat reservations are not required on most trains, buses and boats in the Lucerne Travel Pass area of validity. Reservations are strongly recommended for the Lucerne–Interlaken Express. They are not included in the Lucerne Travel Pass and must be booked directly with the railway operator.
Most mountain railways in Central Switzerland do not require a seat reservation. Reservations are strongly recommended for the Brienz Rothorn railway and Pilatus railways in high season and during periods of high demand. They are not included in the Lucerne Travel Pass and must be booked directly with the relevant railway operator.
