CabriO Stanserhorn ticket
The Stanserhorn ticket takes you to the summit in the world’s only CabriO cable car with open upper deck. Once at the top, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama with a 360-degree view of the Alps and ten Swiss lakes.
Important information
- Ticket entitles the holder to a return journey from Stans to the Stanserhorn
- Ride on the historic funicular to the Kälti midway station
- Ride to the summit on the CabriO cable car with open upper deck
- Free access to the marmot enclosure
- The Stanserhorn is open from mid-April to the end of November

Adults with a Swiss Half Fare Card valid on the day of travel receive a 50% discount. Adults with a Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex or Lucerne Travel Pass travel free of charge. There is no discount for senior citizens.
Children under 6 travel free of charge and do not require a ticket. If one parent has a Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex or Swiss Half Fare Card valid on the day of travel, children between the ages of 6 and 15 travel free of charge with the included Swiss Family Card.
Frequently asked questions
First, you take the historic funicular from Stans to the Kälti midway station in just under ten minutes. Here, you board the CabriO cable car, which takes you up the Stanserhorn in another ten minutes.
The funicular and the CabriO cable car run every 30 minutes from 11 April to 22 November 2026, and every ten minutes on busy days. They are closed in winter. The current operating hours can be found in the timetable.
No, it is not possible to reserve seats for the journey to the Stanserhorn.
Yes, the funicular, the CabriO cable car and the revolving restaurant are accessible. The summit circuit is only partially accessible due to a few steps.
